How to make a Chinese fuse beads pattern (拼豆图案)

01

Upload an image

Start with an avatar or a small image with clear shapes and strong contrast.

Best results: under 300×300px

02

Choose a color system

Pick the color system that matches your Chinese fuse beads brand so the codes map to what you can buy.

Different brands have different palettes and counts

03

Use only colors you have

Open Customize and disable colors you don’t own to avoid surprise shopping later.

This makes the final pattern easier to build

04

Set grid size and colors

Choose a grid size (32×32 for avatars, 48×48 or 64×64 for more detail) and set a color limit.

Fewer colors usually means an easier build

05

Fine-tune with statistics

In the color statistics panel, disable a color and we’ll replace it with the closest available alternative.

Perfect for removing colors you’re missing

06

Export a shopping list

Download a CSV with color codes and quantities so you can purchase exactly what you need.

FAQ

What’s the difference between color systems?

Each Chinese fuse beads brand has its own palette and color codes. Choose the one that matches your beads so the pattern maps to what you can buy.

How do I use only the colors I already own?

Click Customize next to the color system and uncheck any colors you don’t have.

What does “disable color” do in the statistics panel?

If a color appears that you don’t have, disable it and we’ll replace it with the closest available alternative.

What’s included in the export?

The CSV includes brand codes, hex values, quantities, and percentages so you can shop and build with confidence.

Why do physical beads look different from the screen?

Screens and plastic beads don’t match perfectly due to display calibration and material differences. Use the pattern as a guide and adjust based on the beads you own.

How many beads will I need?

A 32×32 pattern needs about 1024 beads. A 48×48 needs about 2304. Check the statistics panel or export the CSV for exact counts.
